How to prepare for your upcoming service

You are now scheduled with us! Please review these guidelines to help you prepare. We can't wait to meet you!

Please Read Each Topic Concerning The Service You Have Requested In Order To Prepare For Your Upcoming Service. We Can't Wait To Meet You!​

  • Please ensure that all of your doors and windows are completely shut. We like to keep the water on the outside 🙂
  • Please ensure that we have access to all parts of your property. If you have any locked gates or areas to be careful of please let us know before your appointment.
  • Please ensure that we have access to a working water source.
  • Please ensure that all of your pets and children are inside the home. We don’t want to give anyone an unexpected bath!
  • Your exterior windows will be washed with detergents and rinsed, it is not a substitute for a full exterior window cleaning. If you would like to add exterior window cleaning please contact us for a quote!

Pre-existing damage to any parts of your home including siding, fascia, roofing, windows, screens, concrete, pavers, stonework, brick, tile, decks, fencing, gutters, or roofing.

Standard pressure washing does not include the removal of any of the following:
Rust, oil, grease, glue, paint, caulk, concrete, or any other non-organic material from your surfaces. 

Oxidation on vinyl and metal siding is not included. (We can remove this type of staining for an additional charge. Please call for details.)

  • Please ensure that all of your pets and children are inside the home.
  • We do recommend you water all of your plants thoroughly before we arrive. 

Do I need to be concerned about my plants?

Yes:
Roof cleaning always carries the risk of plant and landscaping damage. We take a variety of precautions to ensure your property is protected. Be cautious of any roof cleaner that claims otherwise.

In order to reduce risk, we use a few different strategies to ensure your plants and landscaping is protected.

  • We will collect or divert run-off
  • We will water plants before, during and after service
  • Neutralizing agents applied after to areas that need it.
  • Cover delicate plants with breathable tarps to protect from overspray

All of these precautions will help to greatly reduce the risk of affecting your plants and landscaping. If you do notice any issues please give us a call right away! We promise to take care of it!

  • Please ensure that all of your doors and windows are completely shut.

  • Please move any patio furniture that is obstructing access to your windows.
  • If you are only cleaning exterior windows, please let us know if you have exterior screens. We do ask that you remove them before service but if you are not able to please let your scheduler know.

What if it rains on the day of service?
We are able to clean windows in light rain. If it is going to be a heavy rain we will reschedule your appointment. It is rare that rain will affect freshly cleaned windows. We do offer a 2 day rain guarantee. If you happen to notice any spots within 2 days please let us know and we will touch up those windows free of charge!

Our window cleaning terms of service:
Regular window cleaning does not include the removal of any of the following:
Glue, paint, artillery fungus, calcium, mineral deposits, or any adhesives.
For any of these situations in particular removal of paint or hard water stains, a tempered glass waiver must be signed.

  • Please ensure that we have access to all parts of your property.
  • Please ensure that we have access to a working water source.
  • We will bag up the debris for disposal. Please let the crew leader know if we can dump on site or if you need leaves removed from your property.

*Please be advised, our gutter cleaning packages include cleaning of the downspout to the ground only. They DO NOT include cleaning of underground gutter drains.(We do offer this service if yours are blocked.)

 

Do I need to be home for my gutter cleaning service?

No, we can perform the cleaning and charge your credit card after service is complete. You will get a receipt right to your email! We will need a card on file.

 

Our 14 day clog free guarantee:

We offer a 14 clog free guarantee with all our gutter cleaning packages. If your gutters develop any clogs within 14 days after service we will come back out and fix the issue at no additional cost! How awesome is that?

Our gutter cleaning terms of service:
The Clear Factor is not responsible for any pre-existing damages to your gutters or your siding. We are not responsible for the outcome of your gutters in any way if they are not in good condition or any of the following criteria is present: loose nails rotting wood or any visible detachment of the gutter from the house.

  • Please make sure all windows and doors are shut tightly and locked up.  
  • Please make sure your pets are inside during the service.  
  • We will need access to a functional exterior water source.
  • Please move any outdoor furniture away from surfaces that are scheduled to be cleaned.  If you need assistance with this, or would prefer to have us handle it, please let us know during the booking process.

  • Non-organic staining and discoloration such as rust, efflorescence, calcium deposits, irrigation runoff, fertilizer stains, etc.
  • Failing, faded or peeling sealers or other coatings

If you are home during the cleaning, payment is due upon completion of our service. You may pay in the form of cash, check, or credit card. If you will not be home during the cleaning service, we will need a credit card on file. We will charge the card after the service is completed and send you a receipt.
